Processes multi-state and multi-facility payroll biweekly for 1,000+ employees; overseeing all administrative activities related to payroll, reconciliation of employment tax, wage garnishments, and benefits deductions; trains field users on payroll system and applicable websites; serves as a liaison with the payroll vendor, tax authorities, judicial systems, and other external companies.
Ensures the timely and compliant processing of payroll by maintaining payroll data, monitoring system controls, auditing transactions, and resolving discrepancies. Participates in the officer allowance biweekly payment administration and annual tax grant administration processes. Tracks and ensures compliance with local minimum wage and internal revenue service tax requirements.
Key Responsibilities ARC Administrator and Stakeholder Liaison Responsibilities:
Understands the configuration of various modules within the HCM system related to payroll administration including but not limited to:
Benefits, Absence/Time Off, Reporting, Business Processes, Security, Notifications, Compensation and Recruitment.
Maintains awareness of changes in the HCM system impacting payroll data and functionality in order to assess the impact on payroll operations and identify guidance and training needed for system users.
Minimum Wage, Taxation & Audit Compliance Responsibilities:
Audits the employee tax information correctly in the payroll system and resolves any errors as they occur so that year-end processing is accurate and W-2s are correct including monitoring of all auditing reporting available in Paycom throughout the pay cycle and work with HR to resolve any issues.
Prepares payroll audit reports to ensure all requested information is in order and accounted for; prepares reports, employee lists and ensures all information is current; explains payroll processes and applicable policies when requested
Reporting Responsibilities Prepares and maintains employee data supporting required reports; provides statistical reports to the Command Finance Board to support decision making.
Creates reports to support training needs, data analysis, audit and managerial decisions.

Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints. Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Ability to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism. Ability to travel when needed to accomplish assigned job duties.
Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.).Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

Education and Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, Communication, Information Technology or a closely related field, andFour (4) years’ experience administering an HRIS system, such as Paycom, Peoplesoft, Workday, or similar HRIS for the purpose of processing payroll orAny equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
