US Mortgage Corporation seeks a Bilingual Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to support loan officers with end-to-end residential mortgage files. In a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, you will collect and verify borrower documentation, enter and update data in the loan origination system, coordinate with processors, underwriters, and title companies, and track pipeline status. You will communicate clearly with English- and Spanish-speaking borrowers, provide timely updates, schedule appointments, and help ensure files meet compliance and investor guidelines while upholding the company's integrity-focused, team-oriented culture.
Responsibilities
- Support loan officers in managing residential mortgage pipelines from application through closing
- Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Enter and maintain borrower and loan data in the loan origination system
- Coordinate with processors, underwriters, title companies, and other third parties
- Communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking borrowers, providing updates and answering basic questions
- Track key loan milestones to ensure timely processing and closing
- Assist in monitoring files for compliance with investor, agency, and company guidelines
- Schedule appointments and prepare loan files and disclosures as directed
- Identify and escalate issues or documentation gaps promptly
- Uphold a customer-centric, team-oriented culture focused on integrity and ethical lending
