Our Atlanta, GA location is seeking State and Local Tax, Telecom Associates.

• Coordinate s, compile s, analyze s, and distribute s accurate and timely information to prepare and file documents related to telephony regulatory matters and compliance functions.
• Assist s with preparation and filing of revisions to regulatory documents.
• Prepare s correspondence and responsive materials to third parties and regulatory authorities.
• Test s basic tax mapping scenarios within the CLA tax lab and/or client's tax engines to ensure appropriate and expected tax results.
• Support s testing and implementing systems and/or process changes to add increased efficiencies or conformance with tax rules.
• Review s jurisdiction laws pertaining to exemptions and validate forms provided by client's customers to ensure good faith standards are met to indemnify client from tax liability.
• Contribute s to the development of requirements for new and existing client projects.
• Understand s and work s to resolve general customer issues.
• Participate s in other operational and strategic projects or duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree required - Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred

• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
