The Las Olas Network is partnering with a private equity-backed, multi-site specialty healthcare services organization to identify a Corporate Development Associate
.
Our client operates a rapidly growing network of physician practices across multiple states. The organization partners with leading providers and supports its affiliated practices with strategic guidance, operational expertise, administrative resources, and capital.
This position will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development & Strategy and work closely with the executive leadership team. The Associate will support the company’s acquisition strategy across the full transaction lifecycle, from initial opportunity screening and financial analysis through diligence, closing, and post-transaction integration.
This is a highly visible opportunity for someone with a foundation in investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, or corporate development who wants to gain meaningful responsibility within an active, acquisitive healthcare platform.
What You’ll Do- Support the execution of acquisitions from initial opportunity screening through transaction closing.
- Build financial models and perform valuation, operational, and deal-related analyses.
- Coordinate financial due diligence and assist executive leadership throughout deal structuring and negotiations.
- Work with legal counsel, lenders, and other external advisors as needed throughout the transaction process.
- Develop detailed investment memoranda outlining the strategic and financial rationale for potential acquisitions.
- Prepare acquisition scorecards and present key findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Track and evaluate a robust pipeline of acquisition and affiliation opportunities.
- Support the development of executive and Board presentation materials.
- Assist with post-close integration planning and execution.
- Contribute to organic growth and targeted business development initiatives.
- Partner across departments to support operational excellence and other strategic priorities.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical capabilities with the drive to build a long-term career in corporate development. This individual should be comfortable managing detailed analyses while clearly communicating conclusions to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
Candidates should bring:- Multiple years of relevant experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory services, financial due diligence, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, accounting, and analytical skills.
- Experience supporting or executing M&A transactions, including financial diligence and investment analysis.
- Ability to evaluate a business strategically and translate complex information into concise recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- A high level of initiative, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail.
The ability to succeed in an autonomous, entrepreneurial, and fast-moving environment. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another business-related discipline.
Experience with in healthcare services, physician practice management, multi-site healthcare, or another private equity-backed services organization is attractive but not required.
