A market-leading, private equity-backed services platform is seeking a Manager, Corporate Development to join its highly active and sophisticated M&A team. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer and supporting senior Corporate Development leaders, this individual will play a key role in helping execute the company's aggressive acquisition strategy across a high volume of transactions.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an analytically rigorous and highly motivated finance professional looking to gain hands-on exposure to full lifecycle M&A execution within one of the most active consolidators in its sector. The organization has a dedicated deal sourcing function and separate integration team, allowing the Corporate Development group to remain highly focused on transaction execution, underwriting, diligence, and strategic growth initiatives.

What You'll Do
Transaction Execution & Financial Analysis
  • Support the full acquisition lifecycle, from initial opportunity evaluation through transaction close.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, underwriting materials, and other transaction-related analyses for tuck-in acquisitions.
  • Partner with Directors on larger and more complex transactions by providing financial analysis, coordinating diligence activities, and supporting deal execution.
  • Prepare investment committee materials, transaction overviews, executive presentations, and other decision-support materials.
  • Support the preparation and management of Letters of Intent (LOIs), transaction trackers, and coordination with external advisors.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support investment decisions and evaluate acquisition opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting across the acquisition pipeline, including active and prospective opportunities.
  • Manage CRM data and ensure consistent data quality, accuracy, and pipeline hygiene.
  • Monitor transaction status, key milestones, valuation metrics, and deal activity across the acquisition portfolio.
  • Develop and enhance reporting dashboards, analytical tools, and processes that improve visibility into pipeline activity and conversion.
  • Identify trends and insights within pipeline data to support acquisition strategy and decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Directors, finance leadership, sourcing teams, and external advisors throughout the transaction process.
  • Coordinate and support diligence activities across legal, accounting, operational, compliance, and other functional work streams.
  • Help manage transaction timelines, deliverables, and follow-up items to keep deals progressing efficiently.
  • Support post-close tracking, integration, and transition activities as needed.
  • Build strong working relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate effective transaction execution.
What We're Looking For
  • 1-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, transaction advisory, management consulting, or another highly analytical finance environment.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, ownership mentality, sound judgment, and professionalism.
  • Genuine interest in M&A, investing, and building a long-term career within a sponsor-backed organization.
  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.
