Position: Pacific Business Finance Internship (JumpStart) – Summer 2027

Georgia-Pacific Business Finance Internship (Jump Start) – Summer 2027

Your Job:
Georgia-Pacific (GP) is searching for aspiring Finance/Accounting college students to join our full-time entry level rotational development program in Finance.

This will be a 12-week onsite, in-person internship opportunity that runs from mid-May to early August 2027.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization (Finance, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and/or others as needed)
  • Learn and help support key activities including benchmarking, gap analysis, long-term planning, market POV development, and other analytical activities
  • Work with and support the successful evolution of business intelligence and data-based finance tools (Excel modeling, AI-based productivity tools, insight development, etc.)
  • Navigate and contribute to a dynamic environment including adapting quickly to evolving business needs and priorities
  • Think like a decision maker and be inquisitive while demonstrating humility
  • Support team with other data-driven insights as needed

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Enrolled in a college degree program OR alternative program. (e.g., 4-year university, 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
  • Eligible for full time employment starting in June 2028
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related Business field of study
  • Experience with data analysis/visualization tools beyond Microsoft Excel (i.e., Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, VBA, Hyperion, SQL, etc.)
  • Previous internship or experience in the consumer products/manufacturing
