About the Job
We are looking for an Associate Manager with high accountability, strong analytical skills, great communication style, a partnership mentality, and comfort turning facts into recommendations. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Finance, responsibilities include leading International’s period, quarterly, and annual operating planning and reporting activities. This individual will develop financial insights and update finance leadership, cross‑functional partners, and parent company Yum on financial performance to guide business decisions.
Day‑to‑DayResponsibilities
- Lead planning and forecasting for International, and provide completed templates and schedules for quarterly submissions
- Partner with key teams (Finance, Development, Strategy) on sales planning, new unit development, incremental investment asks, and G&A management
- Lead monthly reporting calls with business units, evaluating risks & opportunities against FY plan, identifying actions, and assessing overall impact to profit
- Conduct and provide insightful analysis on period results versus forecast & year‑over‑year variances, recommending actions and re‑allocation of funds as appropriate
- Build & maintain KPI dashboard, and track metrics against FY targets
- Work with Yum! accounting department to identify causes of changes and reconcile any accounting issues
- Establish financial processes to streamline forecasting, reporting, and robust analysis
- Conduct ad‑hoc analyses that provide impact, perspective, and recommendations from a financial POV
- BS/BA, MBA a plus
- At least 5 years relevant work experience (Corporate Finance, Consulting), QSR / retail / multi‑unit franchise industry experience a plus
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with ability to succinctly interpret data for leaders and business partners
- High internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to “do what it takes” to get the job done
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication/presentation skills, able to partner well with other team members and interface effectively with all levels of management
- Ownership mindset on work product – proactively go deeper on a problem vs. doing exactly what was assigned
- Proficient with PowerPoint and Excel
- Hybrid work schedule and year‑round flex day Friday

$93,800 - $130,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits. The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job‑related factors.
