Client Summary

The National Park Service (NPS) Denver Service Center provides acquisition and contracting support for large‑scale design, construction, and Architect‑Engineer (A‑E) projects across the National Park System. To support ongoing mission requirements, NPS requires experienced Contract Specialists to assist with federal construction and A‑E acquisition actions in a fully remote environment.

Position Summary

Provide cradle‑to‑grave federal contracting support for construction and Architect‑Engineer (A‑E) acquisition actions, including pre‑award planning, solicitation support, contract administration, and closeout activities. This position supports a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA), firm‑fixed‑price federal contract and is 100% remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pre‑award and post‑award acquisition actions for federal construction contracts in accordance with FAR Part 36.
  • Support Architect‑Engineer (A‑E) services contracting under FAR 36.6 / Brooks Act, including qualifications‑based selection (QBS).
  • Assist with acquisition planning, market research, and solicitation development (IFBs, RFPs, RFQs, and amendments).
  • Support SF‑330 evaluations, A‑E selection documentation, and negotiation memoranda.
  • Perform contract administration, including modifications, funding actions, and closeout support.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant contract documentation and electronic contract files.
  • Coordinate with Contracting Officers, technical personnel, and program stakeholders in a remote environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of federal construction contracting experience supporting actions under FAR Part 36.
  • 3+ years of Architect‑Engineer (A‑E) services contracting experience under the Brooks Act (FAR 36.6).
  • Experience supporting qualifications‑based selection (QBS) and SF‑330 processes.
  • Experience working as a federal Contract Specialist (GS‑1102 or equivalent).
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment without performing inherently governmental functions.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain HSPD‑12 PIV credentials.

Five years (base year plus option periods)

Employment is contingent upon contract award and Government approval
