Program Associate, Rule of Law Program

Responsibilities

• Organizing, coordinating, and planning operational facets of a global program
• Assisting in researching factors that may impact the success of the program
• Monitoring and reporting progress of objectives and goals of the program
• Developing promotional materials and managing relational databases
• Establishing and forecasting budget requirements
• Conducting training and representing the program at international meetings and conferences
• Writing or developing reports, speeches, and other materials related to the program
• Monitoring expenditures and preparing financial reports
• May supervise staff or interns

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program
• Two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Graduate/professional degree in international studies, political science, law, or related field preferred
• Experience working on issues related to international relations, democratic development, human rights, law, gender, good governance, or related areas
• Strong collaborative problem-solving and analytic skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Facility with computers
• Prior experience living or working internationally is desirable
• Ability to communicate effectively in a foreign language, professional Spanish is required

Demonstrates expertise in program coordination, budget forecasting, and international relations, with strong capabilities in communication and problem-solving. Proficient in developing promotional materials and managing relational databases to support program objectives.
