Job Description
  • Under general supervision, the Compliance Specialist investigates reports and complaints of criminal and non-criminal allegations with respect to insurance agents licensing.
  • Review, classify, categorize, prioritize, and / or analyze data.
  • Includes exercising discretion in determining data classification.
  • Exercise judgement, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving the evaluation of information against sensory, judgmental, or subjective criteria to determine the course of action for penalties to include license revocation.
  • Request documents and collect evidence from outside agencies and other parties.
  • Conduct investigative interviews.
  • Compile detailed and accurate reports of findings and make recommendations for criminal prosecution or administrative sanctions.
  • Attend and / or testifies at court hearings as needed.
  • Conduct research needed to generate reports, complete projects and accurately respond to questions and concerns.
  • Attend training sessions as required to gain skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Perform customer service functions in person, by telephone, and by mail; provides information/assistance regarding department/division services and procedures.
  • Provide professional representation for the Agency or Division during meetings, community outreach, and public contact.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience.
  • Note:

    Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
