The Grants and Contracts Manager is responsible for the strategic coordination, administration, oversight, and compliance of all grants and contracts within the Division of Women, Children, and Nursing Services (WCNS). This role requires strong grants, contract and compliance knowledge, procurement experience, and vendor management.

• Oversee the full lifecycle of federal, and state, including pre-award planning, application development, award acceptance, and closeout activities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between division programs, finance staff, legal, and Division of Finance Grants Management Office regarding grant administration.
• Collaborate with Program and fiscal staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of grant budgets, budget revisions, and financial reporting requirements.
• Monitor grant performance to ensure reporting deadlines.
• Develop, maintain, and manage a comprehensive Division Grants Calendar to track Final date to receive applicationss, reporting requirements and deadlines, deliverables, and closeout activities.
• Establish and maintain centralized electronic grant files, including award documents, budgets, correspondence, reporting schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Work with program staff to coordinate the preparation and submission of programmatic and financial reports to funding agencies.
• Provide technical assistance, guidance, and training to program staff regarding grant management procedures.
• Support the development and submission of major grant applications, including Title V and other federally funded programs.
• Participate in special project at the discretion of leadership.
