SUMMARYThe Coordinated Entry (CE) System Coordinator works with Continuum of Care and other program staff in the Office of Housing Stability & Innovation (OHSI) to oversee all aspects of the Coordinated Entry System for the Southeast region of the Balance of State (BoS) CoC. This work is done alongside three CE System Coordinators and reports to the Coordinated Entry Team Lead.
The CE Coordinator will ensure that all HUD required elements of coordinated entry are met, and that preferred elements are met as possible. The CE Coordinator will manage the day‑to‑day operations of the coordinated entry system, including, but not limited to the following activities.
- Work with the Balance of State CoC Board of Directors, appropriate committees of the Board, HUD technical assistance providers, and other entities as necessary to establish and maintain Coordinated Entry Written Standards
- Collaborate with homeless services providers throughout the Balance of State CoC to provide technical assistance and training necessary to operate the CE system locally
- Coordinate stakeholders and provide leadership to local communities as they implement Coordinated Entry in their respective areas
- Oversee the annual Coordinated Entry System evaluation process, as required by HUD
- Analyze performance of the CE system and make improvements as necessary
- Develop, implement, and maintain tools to facilitate Coordinated Entry, including phone and web‑based tools to enable access to the homeless system across the Balance of State CoC
- Oversee development of Coordinated Entry capabilities within the CoC’s Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) in partnership with other BoS CoC and HMIS staff
