Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is on track to become the largest comprehensive spine and joint care provider in the nation, providing clinical, surgical, and imaging services. We are seeking a part‑time Physical Therapist who loves to transform lives through exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists.
- Reviews patient functional needs and adjusts care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Designs and implements a plan of care based on a thorough assessment, incorporating participation by significant others when appropriate.
- Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care.
- Directs support staff to achieve patient functional goals.
- Communicates effectively with professional and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Practices SSJC policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans; regularly updates documentation and maintains prescriptions and signatures.
- Enhances professional growth and development by participating in educational programs, in‑service meetings, and workshops, keeping up to date on professional literature.
- Provides direction and leadership to staff, acting as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.
- Graduation from a physical therapy school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia.
- Three+ years of experience as a physical therapist.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior experience with eClinical
Works preferred.
