College / Department InformationThe Augusta University School of Public Health was established in 2023 to address Georgia's distinct public health challenges through exceptional education, innovative research, and collaborative community engagement. We are leveraging the strengths of Georgia's only public academic medical center, combining public health expertise with clinical knowledge to train future public health leaders. Our school is comprised of three academic departments:
Biostatistics, Epidemiology & Data Science, Community & Behavioral Health Sciences, and Health Management, Economics & Policy. A training position designed to learn, through engagement, in an advanced level of scientific, technical, and administrative work in support of a research program. Participate in research data collection and documentation within relevant guidelines and protocols; develop and evaluate new research techniques and procedures; publish results in scientific journals. This post‑doctoral position will focus on the directions for the recent funded Strategically Focused Research Network on Cardiovascular Kidney Metabolic Syndrome:
Heterogeneity in Women. The fellow will conduct research in cardiovascular epidemiology research with other investigators within and outside of AU, publish work in peer reviewed journals of the field, and disseminate collaborative work through presentations and collaborative manuscripts in peer reviewed journals.
