- Manages the end‑to‑end process to effectively review, select, authorize, train, monitor and, where necessary, determine sanctions and terminations of WIC vendors in accordance with the policies and time frames established by State WIC regulations.
- Works with WIC Vendor Analytics & Cost Containment Manager to determine appropriate vendor Peer group and monitors vendor activity for compliance by performing detailed analysis of vendor system data.
- Works regularly with DPH Office of Inspector General (OIG), General Counsel and the WIC Vendor Analytics & Cost Containment Manager to gather the necessary input and insight needed to determine appropriate action related to vendor applications/re‑applications, compliance monitoring, sanctions and where necessary terminations and to minimize program fraud related to vendor activity.
- Creates appropriate vendor correspondence including necessary sanctions and denials.
- Completes all necessary activity logs/reports/reviews of work with management to ensure effective and consistent vendor administration.
- Provides subject matter expertise related to vendor administration to the WIC training designer and Vendor Training Coordinator to create effective training material; delivers vendor training and support to ensure vendors are properly informed on all relevant policies and procedures.
- Provides insight and input to manager on updating WIC policies, guidelines and criteria related to vendor procedures.
- Works regularly internally across the WIC program and DPH, as well as externally with other state WIC programs, Regional USDA team and vendor associations to learn and share best practices and to identify opportunities to increase vendor administration efficiencies and integrity.
- Participates as needed in the Vendor Advisory Group to enhance communication, awareness and collaboration on vendor related policy, procedures and support.

Associate degree in communication, English, or public relations from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience related to area of assignment; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Business Support Analyst 2 (GSP
131).
