Responsibilities- Distributes and maintains control of radiology imaging results and performs related clerical duties.
- Assists physicians, patients, hospital staff, and others with requests for imaging results, works with physician offices to coordinate retrieval of images and/or reports, and maintains image and report tracking system.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to type 30 words per minute
- Previous experience using computer applications
- Previous experience in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to function independently
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a logical manner
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the usage of medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Prior clerical experience, preferably in radiology or other hospital/medical office environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the use of medical terminology
