Position: Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) position in Atlanta, GA, requiring a minimum of 18 months of CVOR experience and a Georgia or Compact RN license.

Job Details

• Position is based in a hospital OR setting specializing in cardiovascular surgery,

• CVOR unit handling cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular cases,

• Weekday shifts run 5:00 AM-11:00 AM or 11:00 PM-7:00 AM; weekend and holiday shifts are 7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM,

• Weekend coverage required: one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per schedule (shifts do not need to be consecutive),

• Holiday rotation is required, including weekends surrounding holidays,

• Average of 70+ hours per four-week period, with some variation,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Minimum 18 months of full-time CVOR experience within a setting of similar acuity within the last 3 years,

• Strong experience across cardiac and vascular procedures, with demonstrated proficiency at a high skill level,

• Strong endovascular experience required,

• Travel nursing experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - local candidates are not eligible,

• Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to this specific facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required,

• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if the requested time does not fall on or near a holiday,

• RTO is limited to a maximum of 3 days if the requested time falls on or near a holiday,

• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract,

• RTO during holiday periods must be spread out and will not be approved if clustered on consecutive days,
