Schedule:
Varied shifts as assigned; no block scheduling available
Highlights:
High-acuity surgical trauma unit specializing in spinal, neuro, and trauma cases
Complex patient population including gunshot wounds, spinal cord injuries, quadriplegia, and paraplegia
EPIC EMR system in use throughout the facility
Dynamic, fast-paced environment ideal for experienced trauma nurses
Collaborative care model with multidisciplinary surgical and trauma teams
Requirements:
Active Georgia RN license (verified through Nursys)
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in surgical trauma or related specialty
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system required
Complete work history with no gaps exceeding 60 days
Current skills checklist, professional references, and certification documentation
