We’re seeking a Cardiac Monitor Tech for Emory University Hospital
, responsible for being a capable technician who cares about the quality of their work and ensuring the safety for all patients.
- Observe, interpret, and record telemetry recordings for monitored patients. May monitor alarms where applicable.
- Deliver and apply telemetry boxes to patients.
- Ensure correct patient is being monitored.
- Report significant observations of cardiac rhythms and other alarm information to the health care team.
- Communicate pertinent information to patients as necessary.
- Produce accurate and complete documentation. Comply with handoff communication process.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified rhythm analyst technician (CRAT) preferred.
- Successful completion of an approved arrhythmia course preferred or successfully passing an arrhythmia exam on hire.
