Registered Nurse (RN) - Per Diem/PRN/Part-Time Who We Are

First Light Home Care – NW Atlanta is opening a new office in the Sandy Springs area, serving clients in Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven and Dunwoody. We specialize in providing compassionate, non-medical in-home care that helps seniors and adults live with dignity, safety, and independence.

Our Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) support a wide variety of clients—including those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s, stroke survivors, rehab patients, hospice at home, post-surgery recovery, and individuals who are wheelchair or bed-bound. Care ranges from bathing and hygiene, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care to meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and monitoring.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support our growing team. This role is ideal for a nurse who values autonomy, flexible hours, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of families in our community.

• Perform Caregiver Skill Competency Evaluations to ensure high standards of care.
• Conduct client nursing assessments, including safety and fall risk evaluations.
• Create personalized Service Plans that guide daily and weekly client care.
• Complete supervisory visits to support caregivers and ensure client satisfaction.

• First 90 days: 4 hours per week (flexible and negotiable)
• Following months: 10 - 20 hours per week (flexible and negotiable)
• Potential to grow up to 40+ hours per week as our office expands—if desired.

• Active Georgia RN license in good standing.
• A minimum of one years’ experience in-home care experience.
• Must maintain current driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
