Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and people‑focused Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our leadership team in Atlanta, Georgia
. The AGM plays a critical role in supporting the General Manager by leading daily operations, developing team members, and ensuring consistent execution of brand standards.
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact position designed as a development pipeline into a General Manager role
. The ideal candidate brings strong operational discipline, leadership presence, and a passion for creating a positive team and guest experience in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
- Lead daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts
- Serve as Manager‑on‑Duty (MOD), owning shift performance and outcomes
- Ensure consistent quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and safety
- Execute opening, mid‑shift, and closing procedures
- Maintain compliance with health department and airport/company standards
- Lead, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders
- Reinforce company culture, values, and service expectations
- Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training
- Provide real‑time feedback, coaching, and corrective action when necessary
- Promote strong team morale, engagement, and retention
- Assist with labor planning and real‑time labor management
- Support inventory control, ordering, and waste reduction
- Support accurate cash handling and deposits
- Make cost‑effective decisions with an ownership mindset
- Deliver and model exceptional hospitality
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
- Execute guest recovery with empathy and urgency
- Support guest feedback initiatives and improvement plans
- Use company systems for scheduling, inventory, training, and reporting
- Ensure daily checklists, audits, and compliance documentation are completed
- Support rollouts of new systems and operational procedures
- Maintain accurate, organized operational records
- Be a visible, dependable, and engaged leader on every shift
- Communicate proactively with the General Manager
- Step into GM responsibilities when the GM is off‑site
- Hold yourself and your team accountable to company standards
- Demonstrate clear readiness to grow into a GM role
- Strong understanding of labor management, food safety, and guest service
- Ability to communicate clearly and lead effectively
- Thrives in high‑volume, fast‑paced hospitality environments
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- 3–5 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience
- Proven success leading teams in high‑volume environments
- Familiarity with POS, scheduling, and inventory systems preferred
