Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and people‑focused Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our leadership team in Atlanta, Georgia
. The AGM plays a critical role in supporting the General Manager by leading daily operations, developing team members, and ensuring consistent execution of brand standards.

This is a hands‑on, high‑impact position designed as a development pipeline into a General Manager role
. The ideal candidate brings strong operational discipline, leadership presence, and a passion for creating a positive team and guest experience in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence
  • Lead daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts
  • Serve as Manager‑on‑Duty (MOD), owning shift performance and outcomes
  • Ensure consistent quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and safety
  • Execute opening, mid‑shift, and closing procedures
  • Maintain compliance with health department and airport/company standards
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders
  • Reinforce company culture, values, and service expectations
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training
  • Provide real‑time feedback, coaching, and corrective action when necessary
  • Promote strong team morale, engagement, and retention
Financial & Business Performance
  • Assist with labor planning and real‑time labor management
  • Support inventory control, ordering, and waste reduction
  • Support accurate cash handling and deposits
  • Make cost‑effective decisions with an ownership mindset
Guest Experience
  • Deliver and model exceptional hospitality
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
  • Execute guest recovery with empathy and urgency
  • Support guest feedback initiatives and improvement plans
Systems, Compliance & Process
  • Use company systems for scheduling, inventory, training, and reporting
  • Ensure daily checklists, audits, and compliance documentation are completed
  • Support rollouts of new systems and operational procedures
  • Maintain accurate, organized operational records
  • Be a visible, dependable, and engaged leader on every shift
  • Communicate proactively with the General Manager
  • Step into GM responsibilities when the GM is off‑site
  • Hold yourself and your team accountable to company standards
  • Demonstrate clear readiness to grow into a GM role
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of labor management, food safety, and guest service
  • Ability to communicate clearly and lead effectively
  • Thrives in high‑volume, fast‑paced hospitality environments
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Education & Experience
  • 3–5 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience
  • Proven success leading teams in high‑volume environments
  • Familiarity with POS, scheduling, and inventory systems preferred
