Be a part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 leadership team bringing to life the largest sporting event in the world to be held across 16 cities and 3 markets – USA Canada and Mexico. The Senior Director Hospitality will lead a team responsible for delivering strategy & execution of the local hospitality program to key stakeholders across 3 host markets US Canada and Mexico.
This role will be a team leader and the single point of contact for FIFA WC 2026 local hospitality program inquiries. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in developing a hospitality plan in line with Global Hospitality processes and building relationships with key stakeholders and managing a large cross-functional project and coordinating within the Coca-Cola system.
What You’ll Do for Us- Develop a strategy and operational plan for local Hospitality pillar of the FIFA World Cup project for all host markets
- Develop local hospitality concepts and programs for different hospitality targets – employees customers consumers stakeholders. Develop and plan guest packages to ensure successful local hospitality program.
- Brief evaluate and appoint local hospitality agencies in collaboration with NORAM Meeting & Events team
- Manage and develop relationships with agencies hotels and partners. Negotiate contracts in collaboration with NORAM Meeting & Events team
- Build a team of Hospitality Managers (internal and contractors) across local markets to assist in delivering of local hospitality packages and ensure world class hospitality execution in collaboration with NORAM Meeting & Events team in
- Manage implementation of Local Hospitality Program for host markets – includes managing hospitality package sales strategy and sales guest communications guest registration system and other GMS tools transportation accommodation food & beverages entertainment security gifts tickets.
- Work with local LOC’s to secure hotel properties for hospitality program.
- Work with Global Hospitality team to capture all potential synergies between global and local programs and leverage best practices from similar international events.
- Set up clear process/guardrails with all local market teams (US Canada Mexico) to manage selection of hotels for all cities. Work with FIFA LOC’s for support on all hospitality needs.
- Manage local event tickets including day ticket packages seats assignment for local customers and staff incentives. Works with global hospitality team for digital ticket distribution.
- Manages accreditation for local hospitality team
- Lead management of technology /websites/apps/etc. where needed in collaboration with NORAM Meeting & Events team
- Handle budget management and reconciliation component in collaboration with FIFA WC team Finance lead
- Manage legal contract management for vendors and FIFA contracts (including hotel tickets and special requests)
- Track project milestone and proactively address issues in collaboration with FIFA WC team PMO lead
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Hospitality or Sports Management/Marketing
- 7-10 years’ experience in hospitality / large scale event management
- Strong understanding of NAOU business ways of working and stakeholders relationships
- System Global Hospitality experience desired
- Knowledge of NAOU (US and Canada) and Mexico hotel gastronomy transportation and catering landscape. Hospitality Industry Network and contacts desired
- Knowledge of ticket system and ticket allocation policies/processes
- Strong understanding of customer needs and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills ability to coordinate inputs requirements and demands of numerous constituencies and stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills ability to multi-task and be detail oriented while meeting tight deadlines under pressure
- Highly coachable positive attitude solutions oriented solid work ethic and tenacious follow through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels of organizations internally and externally
- Must possess excellent relationship building and influencing skills
- Travel requirements up to 50%
