Cherokee is looking for a Pool Snack Bar Supervisor who is interested in learning about Food and Beverage in a Premium club environment. Additionally, they will ensure that all Cherokee members and guests are received immediately and courteously upon arrival. The right candidate s will take pride in delivering fabulous and superior experiences!

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Greets and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner while ensuring rule compliance and proper check-in at the Country Club pools.

  • Responsible for opening/closing duties for shift worked
  • Anticipate members needs
  • Responsible for greeting members and guests as they arrive
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Strong attention to detail
Requirements Tasks/Skills
  • Supervises Pool Snack Bar Attendants to ensure member satisfaction and a sense of urgency at all times
  • Supervises daily operation and staff of the Pool Bar.
  • Hires, onboards and trains all new employees and provides positive feedback and opportunity
  • Establishes work schedules for employees within the framework of the operating hours to obtain the most efficient operation.
  • Prepares requisitions for food, supplies and equipment from storeroom and manages inventory process
  • Works closely with Manager in Development
  • Participates in Leadership meetings (based on schedule)
  • Assists with Payroll
Required Qualifications
  • First Aid/ CPR/ AED Certification (can be obtained from the Club)
  • Previous experience in a Country Club (preferred)
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Currently Enrolled in a collegiate Hospitality Program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
