Payroll and Benefits Manager

Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive client in the Sandy Springs area of Atlanta, GA in their search for an Interim Payroll & Benefits Manager
. This is a CONTRACT position.
This position requires in-office work; therefore, only candidates who live in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area will be considered.

• Handle end-to-end, multi-state payroll processing for hourly & salaried employees
• Manage garnishments and payroll taxes, maintaining compliance
• Review, reconcile and audit payroll, assuring accuracy
• Handle benefits administration, including enrollment, eligibility, and payroll deductions
• Oversee Open Enrollment
• Identify areas of improvement in payroll and benefits processes

• At least 5 years of hands-on multi-state payroll processing and benefits administration experience REQUIRED
• Must be familiar with federal and state laws related to payroll & employment
• Multi-state payroll tax experience is REQUIRED
• Must have strong HRIS systems experience
• Payroll certification is preferred
