Our client, a leading organization in the construction and industrial services industry, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be part of the Payroll Department supporting the payroll processing and administration functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
  • Execute payroll processing tasks by utilizing established procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll delivery.
  • Identify and assess routine payroll issues, utilizing standard procedures to evaluate options and make informed decisions without requiring supervisory approval.
  • Understand the interdependencies of assigned duties within the payroll team and how they align with the functions of related departments, contributing to overall organizational efficiency.
  • Independently manage and prioritize personal workload to meet deadlines while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the quality of payroll services by following standardized procedures, positively impacting team performance through attention to detail and accuracy.
What's Needed?
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPP or FPC) are a plus.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or administration, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in payroll software and systems; strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Ability to identify and resolve routine payroll issues using established procedures; strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders.
