Aprio's Senior Specialist, Talent Development develops and supports innovative talent development to enhance the workforce’s leadership and professional skills. This role drives successful planning, execution, and continuous improvement of talent development programs and initiatives by managing timelines, workflows, stakeholder communication, and project outcomes. This role partners closely with L&D leaders, Talent Development Pod leads, and the L&D events team to deliver high‑quality live and hybrid learning programs, ensuring an impactful learning experience.

The incumbent oversees Aprio’s mentoring program, oversees project plans for large‑scale initiatives, and ensures documentation, processes, and performance metrics are consistently maintained and optimized.

Responsibilities
  • Lead project management for large‑scale programs and initiatives, including project plan development, task tracking, workflow optimization, standard operating procedures, recurring workflow processes, and timeline governance.
  • Partner with L&D events team to plan and execute live and hybrid talent development programs and conferences to ensure an impactful learning experience.
  • Establish and manage enrollment processes, prepare program rosters, and conduct participant eligibility reviews in partnership with Talent Development Pod leads, direct supervisors, and Practice Leadership.
  • Develop detailed agendas and schedules for live programs and events, including session topics, speakers, and activities.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Operations and Design Experience Team to ensure curriculum alignment with learning program goals and compliance with applicable standards, including NASBA requirements for CPE purposes.
  • Develop high‑quality and branded learning assets by proofreading materials with strong attention to detail.
  • Partner with Talent Development Team leads to report performance metrics, learning program effectiveness, and gather participant feedback (deployment of surveys, facilitation of focus groups, etc.) to drive data‑informed improvements.
  • Act as L&D’s Everything DiSC administrator, assigning assessments and enrolling team members into related training.
  • Oversee Aprio’s mentoring program using Mentorcli

    Q, ensuring seamless program operations and impactful mentor–mentee experiences.
  • Foster and maintain learning vendor partnerships by managing communication, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring alignment with Talent Development objectives.
  • Support Talent Development’s annual planning cycles, including program calendar development, vendor coordination, course catalog, cost estimates, and updates to project templates and documentation.
  • Maintain Talent Development content across internal channels (intranet, guidebook, onboarding), ensuring information is up‑to‑date on active program offerings.
  • Partner with the Communications Team to brand Talent Development programs in the marketplace through social media and internal channels.
  • As needed, produce virtual and in‑person Talent Development courses through Zoom and Conferences

    IO to ensure programs are educational, engaging, technically sound, and participant‑friendly.
  • Minimal travel required.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, training audiences of various sizes, committees, leaders, and vendors is required.
