The HR Business Partner acts as the relationship manager for our investment business groups, providing proactive HR strategies that drive better people and business results. The role serves as a liaison between core HR functions and business leaders, ensuring flawless execution of HR support, services, and programs.

• Provide human capital advice to managers and key leaders, including root‑cause analysis of people‑related issues.
• Collaborate with Finance partners to deliver financial analysis supporting fact‑based people decisions.
• Participate in or lead full impact analysis for organizational restructuring and execute effective plans.
• Partner with business leaders to create diversity and inclusion programs aligned with business strategies.
• Develop deep knowledge of talent, using performance‑management data to advise on motivation and development.
• Advocate for a culture of feedback and engage leaders in change‑management and organizational design.
• Identify talent/skill gaps and design solutions, including accelerated development plans for top performers.
• Translate business needs into pragmatic HR solutions, managing talent management, workforce planning, performance management, and the compensation cycle.
• Provide advice on complex employee and organizational issues, including conflict resolution, policy interpretation, redundancies, etc.
• Stay current with changing employment legislation and manage HR risks related to harassment, discrimination, and other complex matters.

• 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner (or equivalent), preferably within financial services or asset management.
• Bachelor’s degree required; PHR preferred.
• Experience partnering with managers on all people and organization situations, including change‑management plans and complex employee issues.
• Prior experience leading change initiatives in a highly collaborative, global matrix organization.
• Ability to prioritize and manage a wide variety of assignments, conduct root‑cause analysis, and recommend effective HR solutions.
• Experience in identifying and addressing performance gaps, analyzing HR and business data, and presenting management information.
• Strong business acumen in investment management and deep understanding of employment legislation.
• Expert technical HR knowledge (compensation, benefits, organizational development, etc.) and proficiency with HR systems, People Soft, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and relationship‑management skills, with strong organizational and planning abilities.

Salary range for this position in New York City is $130,000 - $150,000 per year, plus incentive pay based on skills, experience, and location.

Full‑time employee. Job is exempt. Workplace model requires at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office.
