Job Title:

Cloud-Native Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain auto-scaling solutions using KEDA and other relevant tools for cloud-native workloads.
• Provide technical documentation and guidance for the adoption of KEDA in Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops, SRE, and application teams to analyze application traffic patterns and define appropriate scaling triggers.
• Integrate and manage Google Cloud Platform-native services such as Google Cloud Pub/Sub, GKE Ingress, and Kafka for event-driven scaling.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Argo CD, Git Lab CI/CD, and Spinnaker.
• Ensure observability and monitoring of scaling behavior and performance metrics.
• Drive best practices for cloud-native architecture, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Participate in performance tuning, cost optimization, and incident response related to scaling infrastructure.

Key

Skills:

• Proven experience with KEDA or similar auto-scaling frameworks in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services, especially Pub/Sub, GKE, and Ingress controllers.
• Proficiency in event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with Argo CD, Git Lab CI/CD, and Spinnaker.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, YAML).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Cloud Platform certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Dev Ops Engineer, Cloud Architect).
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
