As a Business Analyst, you will serve as a critical liaison between technology, operations, and project teams. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and translating operational needs into technical solutions. A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Conduct comprehensive business process analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities across Operations, Safety, and Project Management functions.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders including project managers, field teams, and executives.
  • Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and documentation to support system implementations and process improvements.
  • Analyze system usage data and user engagement metrics to identify adoption challenges and recommend enhancements.
  • Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure technology solutions (ERP, CRM, PM platforms) meet business requirements.
  • Bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Develop user stories, use cases, and functional specifications for system customizations and enhancements.
  • Support change management initiatives by documenting processes, creating training materials, and identifying user support needs.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and desired state processes, recommending solutions to close identified gaps.
  • Participate in vendor evaluations and solution assessments, providing business perspective on technology decisions.
  • Monitor project deliverables and track key performance indicators to measure success of implemented solutions.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution.
  • Perform regression testing on reports (Power BI, etc…).
  • NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
    • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in technology implementation or process improvement roles.
