Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Atlanta, GA (Remote). This role focuses on leading API migrations and ensuring reliable cloud deployments across AWS environments.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $68/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Lead and support the migration of APIs from Mule Soft to AWS using ECS, Lambda, and cloud‑native services.
- Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, or Git Lab CI/CD to ensure smooth and automated deployments.
- Develop and maintain IaC templates using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or AWS CDK for secure, scalable infrastructure provisioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, including schema failures, configuration problems, and runtime defects across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to address build, deployment, and production issues while ensuring adherence to AWS best practices and security standards.
- Set up and manage ECS clusters, implement zero‑downtime deployment strategies, and integrate monitoring/logging solutions such as Cloud Watch and APM tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, Dev Ops, or backend development using Java/Python frameworks.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in AWS cloud services (Lambda, ECS, Cloud Formation/Terraform) with proven experience designing IaC pipelines and implementing CI/CD automation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead API migrations, troubleshoot deployment/runtime issues, and coordinate effectively with cross‑functional teams while ensuring adherence to AWS security and operational best practices.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $68.00 per hour
