Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service Now Developer to join us in implementing OOB products, developing new solutions, and optimizing existing solutions all on the Now Platform. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Service Now platform capabilities, and have experience with integrations across complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities
  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
  • Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
  • Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
  • Implement effective unit testing strategies, Automated Test Framework (ATF) solutions, and Jasmine test bundles for quality assurance.
Qualifications
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 2+ years of experience developing on the Service Now platform.
  • General understanding of Service Now platform capabilities, preferably HRSD, Flow Designer, Integration Hub.
  • Proven track record in performance optimization, including query tuning, script efficiency, and infrastructure scaling.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Service Portal, REST/SOAP integrations, and JELLY scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Next Experience UI, Playbooks, and designing/building Scoped Applications.
  • Working knowledge and ability to use tools to assist with daily tasks (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, Service Now instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools)
  • Service Now System Administrator Certification required, Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
