Senior SQL Developer

Overview

Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Senior SQL Developer to join their team. The client is searching for a SQL Developer with EDI experience to help transition and build out a custom EDI system for the client’s business. The Developer is expected to hit the ground running in meeting client needs, including processing claims and assisting with other data requests.

HIPAA experience is mandatory due to handling confidential data, with heavy experience in EDI, proficiency in SQL/SQL Server, and ETL development with Python and ideally other tools.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes.
• Work with EDI (HIPAA X12) transactions and data exchanges.
• Assist with building and transitioning a custom EDI system for the client’s business.
• Support data requests and claims processing needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate in a .NET environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• 7+ years of SQL and EDI development experience
• Expert in SQL queries
• Managed file transfer automation experience: FTP, SFTP, PGP
• Creating ETL processes using SQL and SSIS and experience extracting and loading EDI HIPAA X12 transactions
• Heavy experience with SQL Server and operating in a .NET environment
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
