The Performance Marketing Team is a world leader in online marketing, highly data‑driven and focused on at‑scale programs that improve the lifetime value of Agoda customers. The team blends analysts, strategists, and data scientists, fostering a learning environment where you can grow by working with experts from around the world.
In this role you’ll get to- Define marketing strategy for the Flights vertical (outside of pricing).
- Spearhead the development, execution, and optimization strategy for growing Agoda’s Flights business across channels such as CRM and paid performance marketing.
- Conduct end‑to‑end analysis of large, complex datasets related to channel performance, user behavior, and market trends, translating raw data into actionable insights.
- Develop hypotheses, design experiments (e.g., A/B tests), and build structured analyses to rigorously evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive data‑driven decisions for channel growth.
- Partner closely with marketing, product, and flights supply functions to identify opportunities, analyze trends, and drive meaningful initiatives using SQL, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Communicate complex findings, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and managers; participate in hiring and onboarding new team members.
- 8+ years in a data‑analysis role or similar projects involving big data, preferably in tech, e‑commerce, or digital marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, economics, or finance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and impactful recommendations.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools and data warehousing (SQL, Tableau, MS Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating clear, visually appealing presentations.
- Stakeholder management experience with senior executives and commercial acumen.
- People‑management experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing team members.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and get‑things‑done attitude.
- Experience in digital or social media marketing.
- Experience in the online travel or e‑commerce industry.
- Experience in hypothesis testing frameworks, statistical analysis, and using Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
