Role Overview
We are seeking a senior AWS architect to lead the design and implementation of an AWS Control Tower–based Landing Zone in AWS Gov Cloud (US). This role owns the foundational cloud environment that application teams will rely on for years, not weeks.
You will serve as the technical authority for AWS Organizations, identity integration, security guardrails, and governance in a regulated Gov Cloud environment. In addition to hands-on implementation, this role requires strong technical judgment, the ability to guide client decisions, and the discipline to balance compliance requirements with developer productivity.
This is a build-and-lead role. You will be expected to design, implement, validate, and explain the environment to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
