Data Engineer, Data Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a technically strong Palantir Foundry Developer with a core focus on data engineering and platform development to design, build, and scale Foundry-based solutions that support critical supply chain workflows, analytics, and enterprise integrations.
This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role requiring deep expertise in Python, PySpark, and the Palantir Foundry ecosystem
. The ideal candidate brings strong engineering fundamentals, experience delivering production-grade data pipelines and applications, and the ability to collaborate effectively with product, analytics, and operations teams.
Full-stack experience is preferred, with Type Script considered a strong plus.

- Develop and manage complex data pipelines using Py Spark and Foundry Pipeline Builder
- Manage versioned code with branching strategies and peer reviews to ensure reproducibility
- Align data modeling and transformation logic with evolving business needs
- Model datasets and objects within the Foundry Ontology
, maintaining consistent semantics, lineage, and auditability - Own ingestion frameworks via API, SFTP, and AWS Transfer Family
, standardizing adapters, schemas, and validation - Define and enforce data quality rules (null checks, referential integrity, business constraints)
- Configure Data Health monitoring, alerting, and triage workflows
- Lead incident response for failed builds or health checks using lineage, logs, and postmortem documentation
- Translate business logic from purchasing, logistics, compliance, and finance into durable, reusable datasets powering analytics and operational tools
- Implement fine-grained permissions and approval workflows, maintaining audit trails for production changes and access escalations
- Operate and maintain AWS services including S3, EC2, VPC, Lambda, IAM, Secrets Manager, and Cloud Watch
- Serve as technical owner for inbound and outbound data workflows with external partners
- Design and build applications in Palantir Foundry using tools such as Workshop, Quiver, Slate, Contour, and Ontology
- Maintain and enhance operational tools supporting analytics, forecasting, and supply chain execution
- Manage user access, application performance, data lineage, and platform health
- Partner with teams across purchasing, logistics, compliance, and finance to deliver scalable, practical solutions
- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts to ensure system accuracy and usability
- 3+ years of professional experience with Palantir platforms or 5+ years in data engineering or software development
- Strong proficiency in Python and Py Spark ;
Type Script experience is a plus - Hands-on experience with AWS services spanning data storage, compute, security, and automation
- Solid foundation in data architecture, integrations, and system design
- Clear, concise communicator comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Direct experience building and deploying applications in Palantir Foundry
- Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or large-scale operational environments
- Comfort operating in fast-changing, high-impact environments
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
