Lead DBA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and security-cleared Database Engineer (DBA) to support ITAR-compliant infrastructure and data operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL/PLSQL development
, ETL tools
, and database administration
, with a focus on performance, reliability, and compliance.

• Design, implement, and maintain relational databases with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL scripts
  , stored procedures, and triggers.
• Manage ETL processes for data integration, transformation, and migration.
• Ensure database systems meet ITAR compliance and security standards.
• Perform data validation
  , integrity checks, and performance tuning.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database architecture, processes, and compliance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to support end-to-end data workflows.
• Support audits and ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational policies.

• 8+ years of experience in database engineering or administration
  .
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PLSQL
  .
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Data Stage).
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
  , or other enterprise-grade databases.
• Familiarity with ITAR regulations and secure data handling practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP),
  Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Database Administrator
  , or AWS Database Specialty
  .
• Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).
• Knowledge of data warehousing

  , and data modeling
  .
• Prior experience in defense, aerospace, or government-regulated environments
  .
• This is a 100% onsite role at a secure facility.
• Must be able to pass background checks and comply with ITAR access requirements.

The pay range for this role is $115,000 - $120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
