We’re seeking a Datacenter Technician with strong Windows infrastructure experience and hands-on exposure to virtualization technologies. This role supports day-to-day datacenter operations, virtual environments, and hardware while partnering with systems and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Support and maintain Windows Server environments (installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting).
- Monitor and manage virtual infrastructure, primarily VMware vSphere/ESXi
. - Perform datacenter operations including racking/stacking, cabling, hardware swaps, and break-fix.
- Provision, support, and troubleshoot virtual machines and storage resources.
- Assist with basic Linux administration and troubleshooting (preferred, not required).
- Support backup, recovery, and DR-related tasks.
- Document procedures, configurations, and changes.
- Respond to incidents and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization
. - Working knowledge of datacenter hardware (servers, storage, networking fundamentals).
- Ability to troubleshoot system, virtualization, and hardware issues.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience with Nutanix (AHV, Prism).
- Exposure to enterprise storage and backup solutions.
