6+ Months contract position with good chances of extension

Only W2 no C2C

• Serve as the conduit between security and business teams; negotiate and escalate security decisions when needed.
• Review incoming projects, determine scope of changes, and define required security controls before production.
• Participate in all phases of project lifecycle (intake, design, implementation, validation) to ensure solutions are secure.
• Lead risk-based discussions and help project teams prioritize security requirements against cost, feasibility, and business impact.
• Maintain documentation of security requirements, risks, exceptions, and compliance.
• Stay current on security trends, technologies, and frameworks to advise project teams.

• 3–5 years of experience in security engagement, security architecture, operations, or design
• Broad knowledge of cybersecurity across multiple domains: data protection, IT risk, network security, application security, identity and access management, remote access, and security operations
• Strong communication skills; ability to talk to business and technical teams effectively
• Experience with Service Now or Jira is a plus
• CISSP is preferred but hands-on work experience is prioritized
