Azure Virtual Desktop Support Contractor

We are seeking Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Support Contractors to provide high-touch, concierge-style end-user support during go-live events at multiple hospital locations. This role focuses on helping staff navigate new Azure Virtual Desktop prompts and workflows, while escalating break/fix issues to centralized command center or field services teams.

This is a highly visible, on-site role supporting healthcare professionals in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

• Provide at-the-elbow, concierge-style support during Azure Virtual Desktop go-live events
• Assist hospital staff in effectively utilizing Azure Virtual Desktop (VDI) software
• Guide end users through new system prompts, login processes, and workflows
• Identify, document, and track issues related to the Azure Virtual Desktop environment
• Provide timely, high-priority responses to critical issues or system outages
• Support end users in submitting tickets to the command center or field services for break/fix issues
• Review required client-specific materials prior to go-live
• Participate in project-specific orientation and training sessions
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clinical and non-clinical staff

• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or similar virtual desktop solutions
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or critical situations
• Experience working in healthcare or hospital environments is a plus

• Contract-based role supporting three hospital locations
• On-site presence required during go-live periods
• Schedule may vary based on project timelines
