We are seeking Data Center Technicians to support our customers across multiple locations. This position reports to a site location.

This role ensures overall availability and reliability, meeting or exceeding defined service levels. Duties include primary responder rotation, monitoring infrastructure, coordinating incident response, and partnering with other teams to resolve issues. The role may require evening, weekend, holiday, and/or night work. All candidates must be willing to work independently and with a team.

In addition to hardware and network repair, candidates will install equipment, create documentation, innovate solutions, and fix problems within the data center space. The work environment operates 24/7 and requires traveling within and outside of the regional work area.

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
  • Work in a 24/7 environment and participate in primary responder rotation as needed.
  • Work in cramped, elevated and noisy environments.
  • Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
  • Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Perform server rack installations, hardware break‑fix on various components, troubleshoot network issues, and respond to operational incidents that impact service availability, escalating to senior technicians and management as needed.
  • Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, software developers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Perform on‑call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives based on analysis of operational issues.
  • Help train and onboard new team members.
A Day in the Life
  • Take ownership of technical issues brought by customers, engaging other teams to drive resolution.
  • Resolve problems at root cause and understand broader context.
  • Maintain service level agreements through proactive issue detection and reporting.
  • Work shift work including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Traveling within and outside of regional work area is required.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • 1+ year of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
  • Experience working in a Data Center environment.
  • Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent professional or military experience in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, networking engineering).
  • Understanding of network design, protocols, and layer 1/2 troubleshooting.
