Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Guidewire Cloud Solution Architect with deep expertise in Policy Center and Cloud Integrations to lead end-to-end architecture and delivery on the Guidewire Cloud Platform. This role requires strong technical leadership across configuration, rating, digital solutions, underwriting model design, and API-driven cloud integrations. The architect will also function as a trusted advisor to senior business and executive stakeholders, driving enterprise cloud transformation strategies and Guidewire adoption roadmaps.
Extensive project management experience delivering complex, end-to-end Guidewire Cloud programs, including on-premise to Guidewire Cloud migrations. Skilled in leading cross-functional teams, conducting architecture workshops, managing stakeholder communications, and driving delivery excellence aligned with business and executive objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business objectives into scalable, secure, cloud-native Guidewire solutions.
- Lead architecture workshops, integration design sessions, and solution walkthroughs with senior stakeholders.
- Influence enterprise technology strategy and Guidewire Cloud adoption roadmaps.
- Collaborate with business teams to define future-state architectures aligned to digital and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end technical architecture for Guidewire Cloud implementations ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.
- Support on-premise to Guidewire Cloud migration efforts.
- Drive adoption of Advanced Product Designer (APD) for product configuration.
- Oversee delivery across Policy Center, Claim Center, and Billing Center including product model, rating engine configuration, workflow optimization, and underwriting architecture.
- Architect Inland Marine and other complex insurance product models on Guidewire Cloud.
- Architect and lead cloud-native integration strategies using API-first and event-driven patterns.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, asynchronous integrations, messaging patterns, and event frameworks.
- Configure and optimize Integration Gateway for Guidewire Cloud.
- Lead integrations with external systems such as billing, claims, data providers, document management, and rating services.
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire Cloud integration best practices including API security, OAuth2, authentication, and authorization.
- Establish integration governance, reusable frameworks, and standards for cloud delivery.
- Partner with functional and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable cloud architectures.
- Mentor developers and integration engineers on advanced Guidewire Cloud capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and innovation across the Guidewire Cloud ecosystem.
- 10+ years of experience in Guidewire implementations across Policy Center, Claim Center, or Billing Center.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform or cloud migration programs.
- Deep expertise in Policy Center configuration, rating, and underwriting models.
- Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-native integration architectures.
- Strong experience leading enterprise-scale integration and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with APD, Integration Gateway, and Guidewire Cloud integration patterns.
- Proficiency in GOSU, Java, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and API security models (OAuth2, JWT).
- Guidewire Cloud Integration ACE Certification (Required)
- Guidewire ACE Configuration Certification (Preferred)
- Additional Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.
The annual salary range for this position is $125,000 – $139,000 USD, depending on experience, skill level, and location.
