Job SummaryThe Network Infrastructure Engineer role ensures stability and integrity of in‑house data, video, voice, and wireless services. Responsibilities include planning, designing and developing LAN/WAN across the organization, installing, monitoring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing hardware, software and communication links, analyzing and resolving problems, and providing end‑user training.
Responsibilities- Configure networks to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of end‑user hardware and peripherals.
- Ensure network connectivity of servers, workstations, telephony equipment and other appliances.
- Maintain network component inventory and documentation.
- Provide performance statistics and reports.
- Manage firewall, VPN and remote‑access solutions.
- Design and deploy LAN, WAN, wireless networks with routers, switches, UPS, etc.
- Research network products and conduct maintenance of equipment.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors.
- Collaborate with management to assess long‑term capacity needs.
- Create and maintain documentation for configuration and mapping.
- Develop policies, procedures and training plans for administration, usage and disaster recovery.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline plus minimum 3 years of LAN/WAN administration OR Associate’s degree plus minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator experience.
- Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP).
- Background in network administration, architecture and routing protocols.
- Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, mentoring and organizational skills.
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise‑level IP networks with heterogeneous environments.
- Proven network capacity planning and security experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, network testing tools.
- Expert knowledge of core routing and switching design principles.
- Technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
- Detail‑oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Confidentiality, testing tools competence.
Shift: Days; M‑F (outside standard hours may be required)
Pay Band: B12
Salary: $62,300 – $74,880 annually (within range based on qualifications)
Recruitment Period:
