Technical Product Manager

Job Description

• The Technical Product Manager is responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap while acting as the primary liaison between stakeholders, leadership, and development teams.
• This role requires a systems thinker with strong ownership mindset and a sharp focus on delivering value to the end user.

• Create and communicate the product roadmap to stakeholders and leadership.
• Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap outlining key features and timelines.
• Translate customer needs and business requirements into comprehensive product specifications.
• Author use cases and user stories and collaborate with engineering leads to prioritize features and enhancements.
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure requirements are clear, feasible, and achievable.
• Oversee development teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
• Define and oversee testing processes to ensure products are defect‑free prior to User Acceptance Testing.
• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, including rollout plans and procedures.
• Present updates and proposals to steering committees and project sponsors.
• Develop, track, and manage project plans, timelines, and scope.
• Assess risks and apply management principles to technology applications and business functions.
• Lead Agile and Scrum ceremonies effectively.

• 5–10 years of experience in Product Management.
• Proven experience in software product management with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in large‑scale, multi‑platform system environments across all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies with the ability to lead ceremonies.
• Strong people management and team‑building skills.
• Ability to quickly learn business processes and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Strong risk assessment and management capabilities related to technology products and business functions.

• Prior media industry experience and/or experience with broadcast control rooms.
• Cloud experience is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task efficiently.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments with competing priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
