Job TitleNew Business Development
Industry Focus- Must have IT Infrastructure selling to Manufacturing, Aerospace and Defense customers.
- Preferably Atlanta, Virginia or East Coast
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Director to join our team and drive new logo acquisition for Microland's IT services portfolio in the region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with customers.
Responsibilities- Identify and pursue IT Services new business opportunities in the region.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve set targets.
- Work collaboratively with clients to design and propose IT Services solutions that meet their needs.
- Present the value of Microland's IT Services solutions to all levels of customer management.
- Drive IT Services deals from opportunity identification to closing.
- Build and propose transformational IT Services to customers.
- Map competition and develop appropriate winning sales strategies.
- Manage and develop relationships with key partners and influencers.
- Contribute to the development and execution of sales and marketing plans.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and pipeline.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- 10+ years of Sales New Business Development experience in an IT Services company.
- 5+ years in sales (Hunting – New Logo).
- Last 3+ years’ US enterprise accounts experience in IT Outsourcing sales - with a strong IT Infrastructure background;
Customer facing role with C-level executives. - Handled large, complex bids in IT Outsourcing / IT Managed Services / Cloud Services.
- Previous work experience with global Systems Integrators (SIs).
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding goals.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Entrepreneurial and self-driven.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration.
- Experience selling IT and OT services.
- Well versed with the nuances of the region and well networked.
- Knowledge of both IT and OT (Operations Technology) services.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, especially in Aerospace and Defense.
- Sound knowledge of emerging technologies, platforms, tools, and products and their respective applications.
- Awareness of global industry trends and directions along with its impact on IT Infrastructure services.
- Identify, evaluate, and select innovative approaches in similar industry or competitors to enhance the project portfolio, competitive infrastructure, and delivery mechanisms to ensure service levels and technology support are always competitive and exceed customer expectations.
