our client is currently seeking a qualified desktop support technician to join their team onsite in atlanta, ga and provide end-user support.
duties and responsibilities- maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals
- documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems
- supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups
- trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
- resolves network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches
- escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve
- represents the company in a professional and businesslike manner and communicates effectively with customers and associates
- interacts with customers, responding to routine technical questions or requests for information
- minimum 3 to 6 years of experience supporting pc hardware and software
- comfortability providing hands and feet support for server and network is a plus
- experience supporting mobile data plans, mobile networks, and devices is a plus
- minimum 3+ years of deskside support experience in an enterprise environment
- servicenow or similar ticketing system experience
- hardware and software support experience
- customer facing experience
- mobile device support experience
- able to train quickly on procedures and should have good it knowledge base
- basic network troubleshooting skills
- windows 10/11 experience
- able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment with strong personalities, and detail oriented
- mac os and ms intune experience is a plus
- comptia a+ certification preferred but not required
the rate for this position is between $18.75 - $24.00 per hour
. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
