Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Windows SRE. We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft System Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise Microsoft environments, including Windows Azure Entra (Azure AD), and Azure IaaS. The ideal candidate will have strong automation capabilities and apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to streamline operations, improve system reliability, and enhance security and compliance.

Responsibilities

Azure IaaS & Identity
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources:
    Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Networking (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers).
  • Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure workloads.
  • Monitor and optimize Azure resource performance and cost using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
  • Ensure security and compliance across Azure environments, including RBAC and Conditional Access.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory, identity and access management, and hybrid identity solutions via Azure AD Connect.
Active Directory & Windows
  • Maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations.
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Power Shell for operational tasks (patching, compliance, reporting, remediation).
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep for Azure resource provisioning.
  • Integrate IaC deployments into CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure delivery.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Apply SRE principles to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for proactive incident management.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate reliability and automation into workflows.
  • Drive operational efficiency through automation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong expertise in Windows Administration, Azure AD, and Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in Power Shell scripting and automation for operational efficiency.
  • Hands‑on experience with Azure infrastructure services and hybrid identity solutions.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks for Microsoft environments.
  • Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of SRE practices, monitoring tools, and incident response.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in Intune & Azure.
