Software Project Analyst

The Software Project Analyst will assist in the implementation, testing, and maintenance for Sterling IRB’s electronic systems. Acting as the primary liaison between technical capabilities and business requirements, this individual ensures that the software evolves to meet the needs of all departments while maintaining compliance.

This isn’t a “maintenance” role—it is a Project Leadership role. You will be the primary liaison between our technical capabilities and business requirements, ensuring our software evolves to meet the needs of every department. • Project Governance:
  • Partner with leadership to prioritize the software implementation roadmap, ensuring project deliverables align with organizational goals.
  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions with various departments to translate business needs into formal, technical project specifications.
  • Maintain the system configuration and design/maintain the system x-forms to meet functional needs
• Define data points and structures required within the database to ensure accurate, high-level business intelligence
• Develop and manage company-wide reports; analyze system data to provide strategic recommendations and performance insights to leadership
• Establish in-system help resources and standardized templates to optimize user workflows
• Ensure Compliance:
  • Assist with the documentation process, including system requirement documents, change control reports, and validation records for audit readiness.
  • Oversee validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases to ensure stability, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Train & Support:
  • Design and deliver live training for clients, IRB staff, and Board members.
• Digital Project Support:
  • Assist with technical execution of the company website and custom-coded Mailchimp campaigns (HTML/CSS).

• Experience &
  
  Education:
  • 5+ years in Software Project Management, Business Systems Analysis, or IT Project Coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Industry Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and working within highly regulated environments (Change Control, System Validation, Audit Trails).
• Technical Toolset:
  • Expertise in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS for web and marketing support.
• Communication:
  • Mastery in presenting complex technical roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders, including Board members and clients.
• Analytical Mindset:
  • The ability to translate system data into a compelling business case for leadership.

Job Type: Full-time, office environment. Possible requirement to be in person at least during 90-day Introductory Period. Possible requirement to be in-person for staff and departmental meetings, to be held approximately once quarterly. In person ad-hoc meetings may be required.
