Qualifications
- Core MDM Expertise (7+ years):
Designing, implementing, and managing enterprise MDM solutions, covering key domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, etc) and hierarchies. - Data Architecture & Engineering (7+ years):
Data modeling, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, SQL/No
SQL databases. - MDM Platforms (7+ years):
Hands-on experience with major platforms like Enter works, SAP MDG, Stibo, Syndigo, Informatica etc. - Data Governance & Quality (5+ years):
Policy setting, data quality modules, reference data management. - Integration:
Integrating MDM with other systems (ERP, CRM, ESBs). - Leadership & Strategy (5+ years):
Leading teams, defining roadmaps, partnering with executives, driving strategic goals. - Methodologies:
Agile (Scrum), Waterfall, ITIL frameworks.

Analyzes and translates complex technical requirements into architectural blueprints or proofs of concept for multiple technical and functional domains. Serves as the technical expert for the integration of products across the business, including managing the short- and long-term product roadmaps for technology systems.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities- Defines, designs, and oversees the systems and applications architecture for current and future technology products and business applications.
- Manages application and/or infrastructure development projects, including modifying existing architectures and integrating products and systems into existing designs.
- Understands product vision and business requirements to define product architectures and works with product managers to plan and execute new product releases.
- Drives standard and efficient applications and infrastructure design by aligning product roadmaps with business strategies, vendor roadmaps, and service capabilities.
- Contributes to the development of technology strategies, including driving requirements gathering, collecting existing deployment plans, synthesizig business goals, and developing operating strategies.
- Works with technology teams on issues needing deep technical expertise and complex systems knowledge.
- Evaluates new and emerging technologies and developmental methodologies to find faster, cost effective, and more reliable solutions for existing and proposed systems and evaluates strategic fit for the organization.
- Manages, coaches, and/or trains architects and technical team members.
- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
- Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
