• Design and implement ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load large datasets from multiple sources.
• Maintain and optimize data infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and high performance across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using Python, Java, Scala, or Pig.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions for analytics and reporting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Cloudera environments, using tools like Cloudera Manager and Hue.
• Leverage generative AI coding tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code) to improve development efficiency and code quality.

• 3+ years of experience with Hadoop technologies, including Spark, for data ingestion and processing.
• Experience with Cloudera installation, configuration, tuning, and administration.
• Proficiency in SQL (Hive, Spark SQL, or Impala) for data querying and management.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, Scala, or Pig for data engineering and automation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional team settings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• Experience managing and monitoring Cloudera environments using Cloudera Manager or Hue.
• Experience with both on-premise and cloud infrastructure deployments.
• Knowledge of AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Ability to optimize queries and resources for improved performance and efficiency.
