About the Role:
We are looking for a Director/Senior Director of Product Management to lead and scale our data platform. Data Platform is the backbone for Iterable's customer data (user data, events, integrations) processing & persistence mechanisms, helping our customers unlock and integrate their data for use in all facets of automated orchestration at-scale. The Data Platform team is a horizontal service that impacts everything from Journeys, to campaigns, Analytics and the core of Nova (AI platform) intelligence.
This leader will shape the product strategy that transitions Iterable from providing infinitely flexible data systems to delivering a structured, context-rich "operational DNA" for every customer.
The role offers the opportunity to help enterprise brands solve critical challenges in customer engagement, personalization, and marketing automation while leveraging AI-powered decisioning, real-time personalization, and data-driven orchestration.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as "GM for the Iterable Semantic Context layer" to define and execute a multi-year vision for the Data Platform that balances near-term business goals with long-term vision.
* Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, speed, and customer-centricity.
* Establish disciplined operating rhythms to prioritize work, manage trade-offs, and ensure high-quality delivery across multiple domains.
* Partner with Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market leadership to ensure seamless integration and successful product launches.
* Act as the "voice of the customer" by conducting deep discovery and user testing to solve complex data scale and quality challenges.
* Represent the platform's progress, strategy, and business impact to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in Product Management, with 3-5+ years in a senior leadership role managing other PMs.
* Deep experience in Data Platforms, SaaS, or enterprise software, specifically handling high-scale data ingestion and multi-tenant architectures.
* Proven track record of solving complex problems related to data schemas, labeling for AI/ML, and data availability.
* Ability to translate high-level company objectives into actionable product initiatives with measurable outcomes.
* Exceptional ability to lead through ambiguity, drive organizational alignment, and develop talent.
* Strong executive presence with the ability to articulate technical concepts and strategic trade-offs to diverse audiences.
